Alan was a true gentleman. He was a loving and loyal partner and grandad.
Alan was an understated and kind man. He dedicated most of his life to service in the Royal Navy and to helping others through his dedication to the R.A.O.B. raising funds for countless causes.
Never one to complain and always with a funny story or joke to share Alan will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him and he leaves a large gap in all of our lives.
Help for Heroes was a charity close to Alan's heart and he would be proud and thankful for any donations that would help other veterans and their families.
