George was the best Husband ever to Ruby. When she sadly passed on June 23rd, 2022 he couldn't live without her and went to join her on July 23rd, 2022.

Their daughters Andrea, Alison and Donna couldn't have wished for better parents or grandparents for their children and will love and miss them until the end of time.

George enlisted into the Royal Artillery and served for several years, being posted to Cyprus twice and giving protection to King of Jordan for a time too. He loved his army days but when family came along, he loved them even more and left the army to be home with them. He was such a wonderful gentleman who was cherished, admired and respected by everyone he met and always worked hard all his life.

George was always a supporter of Help For Heroes and was one of two charities that he asked for donations to be made to at his funeral.
