Lorraine Major
Lorraine was independent, fun loving, friendly and had a kind heart.
Lorraine served initially in the WRAF and then later joined the WRAC as an RMP. In total she gave 20 years of service.
Lorraine was based in the UK, NI, Cyprus, Germany and was deployed on Op Granby (Gulf War 1) and to Bosnia. She loved her time in the military, but had to retire early on medical grounds.
Sadly Lorraine passed away unexpectedly on 4th Dec 2020. She will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
Help for Heroes have been a great support to my big Sister and she loved her residential visits to Tedworth House. This is why as a family we have decided to create this fund raising page in Lorraine's memory.
