Dad was Army through and through, and was very proud to have served for Queen and Country in peace times and conflict. 37 years in the Army, 22 years Infantry and 15 years as a medic in the TA. Tours of Malaya, Aden, Northern Ireland , Falklands and the Gulf to name a few.
He knew how hard the change from military to civilian street was, let alone to deal with severe injuries and disabilities on top of that. As a family we had choose this charity to support, already raising money. Dad wore his help for heroes clothing with immense pride and this is our tribute to him, Hero in life, Hero to us.
