Roy Bibby Wainwright
Roy Wainwright had a long and happy life for 90 years. He was a hardworking Carpenter Joiner providing for his family whom he loved.
Roy (29/9/31 - 24/12/21) was loving husband to Dorothy, father to Ruth Slight and Sally Wainwright, grandfather to Emily, Matthew, John and Ben, great grandfather to Callum, Ivy, Henry, Samuel and Maisie. He served in the RAF and supported Help the Heroes following the tragic death of Sapper Mark Smith a family friend who was tragically killed during a tour of duty in Afghanistan in 2010.
He was proud of his life achievements following his humble beginning. He was happiest when surrounded by family and friends enjoying a pint in his local pub or at family gatherings. He would be proud that donations may help to improve the lives of ex servicemen and war veterans.
