Stan joined the REME at the age of 16 and 32 years later retired from the Forces as a Major. He loved his army life, travelling the world with his family and making so many friends along the way. Sadly, Stan passed away on the 6th October 2019 and he has left behind him a massive void in the lives of everyone who loved him. He was the kindest, most genuine person anyone could have ever met. His family was his priority and as the best Husband, Father, Grandad and Great Grandad anyone could ever wish for, he will be sorely missed by us all.

Stan’s funeral was on the 22nd October 2019 and instead of flowers, he would have been happier knowing that donations are being made to the Help for Heroes Charity for the amazing work they do.
