Stan Wall was a local Hero and so well known in the Grays Thurrock area. For Over 20÷ years Stan was advocate for Help 4 Heros raising 180+k
Stan Wall was a well known local hero and Legend, who had been raising money for a variety of charities for 20+ years and raising over 180k at the last count!!. At the ripe old age of 96 Stan sadly passed away with is family by his side.
Help for Heros was his main charity and he has raised thousands of pounds through a annual local bike ride with The Thurrock Rotary Club, where he would cycle 21 miles!. He was well known to the local community as 'Stan the man' where he would spend months each year knocking on doors and local businesses asking for donations for Help for Heros. He was also honoured in the National Pride of Britain awards coming a runner up.
He was always proud to fly the British flag on his bike and later years on his mobility scooter. Everyone would stop and talk or wave to him and he would always have ample time to share his success in his Charity efforts.
We would be honoured if you would like to make a donation in Stans honor. Our Dad, grandad, great grandad and great-great Grandad.
