Thomas Bunn
I write these words in memory to my boss, mentor and friend, Thomas Bunn.
With the blessing of Tom’s wonderful family I will be taking on Rob Burrow’s Leeds marathon on Sunday 14th May 2023.
Tom was a keen runner and cyclist something which we both shared in common. This challenge of running a marathon in his honour is the best way I can pay tribute to the man who gave me my start in working life, a man who showed patience with me when many others would have simply let me go.
He was a man of great generosity which included fundraising for help for heroes in the past himself. This was a charity close to his heart and this is my reasoning for choosing help for heroes.
I hope to raise an amount deserving of this great man’s legacy.
